Review tag!

Haha, I absolutely loved reading this. It was so much fun. The way you write Ginny's voice is cute and kinda relatable.

"I'm sure everyone talks to their stomach. I'm not weird or anything."

Yes Ginny I do too!! xP

Also, the eggs bit, I was laughing so hard when Ron put the eggs in with the eggshells. Who does that?!

And food fight!!!

Though I really feel bad about poor Harry's cake. And of course, Mrs Weasley's lovely effort gone to waste (or I should say slimey goo).

It was pretty well-written and great humour. The first person narrative worked and the dialogues were on point. I had a fun time reading! Cheers xD

Author's Response: 'Ello there :)

Aw thank you! Ginny's relatableness... 'Cause who doesn't talk to their stomach anyway? And Weasleys + kitchen = inevitable food fight , especially with the twins involved XD

Thanks for the review!

So good. I legit just wrote an entire freaking review and it deleted, so I'll keep this short. I love how you displayed all the characters, they contained original elements as well as evoking the characters in the books. Also, it made me laugh which was unsurprising. Also Ron reminded me of me... who knows why?

Author's Response: Thank youuu :) and a whole review deleting is so damn relatable. Happens so many times to me... Anyhoo I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Ron reminded you of you, huh? I wonder why...

I'm kidding! Kidding! Thanks for reviewing :)

Deeds here to review your challenge entry! I loved the opening portion of the chapter. Ginny's sarcastic personality really shines. One line that really made me laugh out loud:

(Hippogriffing is a routine of bobbing your head, flapping your arms and running around in circles. It's actually quite good for relaxation)

We will be cooked into a Weasley casserole.

A Weasley casserole would be nice! I wonder what it would include. Definietly a special family secret ingredient.

Sigh, cheating on your future wife with Dolly the chicken's leg is not very nice, Ron Weasley.

Love this. Love your small descriptions here and there that make the story lively.

Honestly, boys these days have no sense of perseverance.

YES HONEY, YOU ARE SO RIGHT!

Time seemed to stop in that very essence. Ron by his side and Hermione by mine were forgotten by the two of us.

Aw! I loved this. I thought you really captured the Weasley essence, which is what I was looking for. It got a little long towards the end but then it wrapped up quite nicely with Harry and Ginny having a moment, which is really all that she wanted anyway. The cooking aspect was great. I could see the twins wanting to add something special to the 'cake' batter and Ron being useless because he's Ron. I wouldn't expect Ginny to be domestic either because I don't see her cooking all that much to be honest with you. I think Harry would be the chef in that family. I loved the banter between all of the Weasley children and her little asides. I chalk her sanity up to it being 1 AM.

Nice job! I would say in the future to edit the chapter again because there were some words missing here and there and at one point you called Ginny 'Lily' which confused me but I was looking to be amused by this challenge, which you did! Thanks for joining! Winner will be announced the day after the deadline.

Author's Response: Hello :)

Thank you so much! I wasn't really sure about all of the Weasleys' characterisation, since I haven't done it in detail before, but just thank youuu :3

Ahh I'll edit it asap- sorry for the slip up :/ it's because I'm currently writing a Novella which is from the POV of Lily Luna...

Thanks again for the lovely review :D!!

PS: I think a Weasley casserole may or may not have an essence of Dolly- if Ron hasn't already finished her :)
