Hi!

Aw, this was really cute and even though Im not a big Hinny fan I found myself awing away while I read this one-shot. I thought you wrote Ginny really well in this bittersweet moment of her life as she had this cool and calm acceptance of what was about to happen and that fitted really well with her as she usually is quite a confident person. Another thing I liked was how much she was treasuring their final moment together and really loving it for every second that it was and holding onto it, as it was just lovely to see how much Harry actually meant to her through that.

This was so adorable! ♥

Author's Response: Hi! You were my first reviewer ever (just so you know) and I'm really glad that you liked it as much as you did. Even though I'm not usually a Hinny fan either this was a moment that came into my head clearly. I just felt that Ginny's view of their final moment could be interpreted like this. Again, thank you for reviewing, you have no idea how much this means to me.

Awww, this was pretty cute. :)

It's totally okay to have headcanons that deviate from canon, and though this was a slight deviation, I think it was well worth it! Poor Ginny knows that Harry is going to leave so that maybe the people he loves will be safe, and she loves him so much that she doesn't want him to go. At least she can have that one last kiss as a memory to last her through the torture that Hogwarts became.

The only thing that was a little off about this story was that the last sentence in the penultimate paragraph was worded a bit awkwardly. Otherwise, it was a very well-written story! :)

Author's Response: Hi! First and foremost thank you for reviewing, and yes, I like to think that that last kiss helped Ginny stand strong for the rest of her Harry-less year. I also thought that instead of portraying Ginny sad or angry she is somehow resignedly accepting of the fact that for hers and Harry's safety of body and mind it has to be done. And lastly thanks a lot for telling me about that weirdly worded sentence, it's already changed and waiting for validation. Again, thanks for reviewing. It means A LOT to me.

Review #3, by SereneChaos Interrupted- One Shot.

Hi there! I think you did a really good job (especially in a first fic) at keeping your writing fluid and to the point. I especially loved this description: "but he loved her so much he put distance between them, so shed be protected and as far away she could from the dangers that circled above his head like birds of prey, waiting for a little flaw in his defenses to come down and hurt him." I feel like that's the perfect way to describe the exact reason why Harry was pushing Ginny away.

Something I'd like to see in this story (or in future stories) is a little more of the character in the narrative. By this I mean, I'd really like to hear a little more of Ginny's voice here. Right now, your story does a good job of telling us why Ginny feels the way she does, but it's done in a bit of a summary sort of way. I'd like to see (in the third person) more of how Ginny feels about this all. Is she a little bit angry? Does a snarky comment make it's way into the narrative? If she's feeling hurt, perhaps go more in depth as to how that feels?

If that made any sense, haha. Whatever the case, good work!

Author's Response: Hi! Thank you for reviewing!
When I read I sometimes just stop and realize the fragment I just read perfectly describes a person, situation or feeling... I just never thougt another person would like what I wrote and think something similar. It means the world to me. Also, I really appreciate your suggestions and comments and I'll try to incorporate them into my future stories; they give me a new point from where to analyze and improve my writing. Again, thank you for reviewing, you really brought a smile to my face today.
