I really liked the story, it's definitely not the sort of thing I'd usually read and I found it very pleasant.

When I read the first chapter and worked out which partnership the book would be based on, I do admit to making a whooping noise and being generally very excited.

I like the reality you've given all the characters, Lily's almost fear of relationships which could have been expanded on slightly as well as the journey she takes as a character parallel and intertwined to her relationship with Matt in becoming an investigator.

You really do show a wonderful character arc in this story in which the characters do change and grow as the relationship progresses and it was wonderful to read about.

... I do get the feeling that your AP series may go beyond 7 books... as with him always at work and doing stuff, dark and interesting stuff must be going on as well as his relationship with the fiancee which also proves interesting... maybe there will be a time jump?

Overall a solid piece of work that had me very interested and looking forward to updates.

This is a great story and was a very enjoyable read. I would love to know what ends up happening to Matt and Lily but this story ends well with them just being in love and enjoying being around each other. I liked how Matt's story played out and am glad he trusted Lily enough to eventually tell her what was going on. And you did a great job handling the many different characters (cousins/parents/children). I didn't feel like I was lost or overwhelmed by all the different people. You kept the focus on Lily and Matt but still had lots of other characters involved. Great story. Can't wait to read more from you!

Hm... I know I left a review but for some reason, it did not go through. Anyway, I read this last week and I am saddened that this is going to end. Do you think you could do a sequel maybe? It is a very interesting next generation with OC characters story. And of course, I am also looking forward to your Albus series. I think you are the only author writing an entire Albus series.

Awww, this one is so sweet :D The fact that he's thinking of kids is a good sign, he must Really love her. I mean if there's any chance she could accidentally get pregnant, he'd want her to know what she's in for.

I didn't think about how they wouldn't live as long as regular wizards.. hmm. It probably would be that much harder to deal with in old age.

Aw I loved this chapter, all warm and fuzzy and happy. I liked how much it seemed to sum up Lucy's growth throughout the story. It had a sense of closure to it, you can feel things finishing up, and yet there's this real hope for the future too, Lily's finally found a prospective career and not just a temporary job, she's seriously thinking about things like marriage and kids and she's committed to her relationship with Matt.

I really liked the point about lycanthropy taking a physical toll on werewolves in the long term. I'd never given it much thought before, but it seems logical albeit very sad for them.

I'm so sad this story is nearly finished, I've been enjoying it so much :) Fabulous work!

Author's Response: Yep, it's very fluffy and happy! But that's the overall tone of this fic, despite the bit of angst thrown in. Lily definitely grew a lot in this fic, far more than I imagined when I first started writing it.

Both Lily and Matt definitely have hope for the future now. The two of them were both stuck in a rut in terms of relationships and jobs, but now they can both move on, together. And just the fact that Lily is thinking of marriage and isn't totally turned off to the idea is amazing!

The physical toll lycanthropy takes on a person is rarely mentioned in FF, but I think JKR alluded to it a lot throughout the HP series. Never in detail since the fics were from Harry's POV and not Remus's, but she laid the groundwork. I just expanded it. Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)

Everything's out, what a relief. I'm so glad that everything worked out for the better. I really do like Matt and Lily together and they deserve to be happy. Also, I really just wanted to reach through the computer and give Matt a hug when Lily first confronted him about his lycanthropy because of how anxious he got. Poor guy, he's been through too much bad for one person. But I really liked how Lily handled it and kept herself together; she really is maturing more now that she's been dating Matt. Matt is definitely the best thing to happen to Lily, and vice versa. Great chapter! (:

Aw! This is just so sweet. I want to laugh and cry at the same time. Lily is like Ron. Ron in JKR's world is kind of oblivious but if you really read in between the lines of the books, Ron is very much in tune. Excellent characterisation of Lily. I look forward to the one shot. I thought that Amy would have offered the potion to the bloke who bit Matt...

Poor James :( He's the single man out. I just want to give him a hug. And Lily is doing the right thing letting the lycanthropy discovery air out until the next full moon to be more sure for now. I'm not looking forward to what's coming as I'm sure it won't be pretty... can we just skip over that to the happy part where there are no secrets are holding them back?
