I like this first chapter a lot! It's interesting to read people's takes on the hardships the characters face after the war has ended, rather than pretend that everything is fine and dandy. I'm looking forward to the rest of the story and learning more about the plot. The only critique I have of this chapter is that Hermione's eyes are brown, not green. Other than that, well done!

I wanted to be the first one to review you. I always like people's thoughts and opinions towards my stories, so I want to give you mine. Harry Potter and this story is of course fiction. Although the way you paint this story shows the hardships of Draco Malfoy. You also show in accurate detail that everyone, either young adult or an elderly person, has never been ready for the real world. I like that. You seem to understand that. I like this story, although I don't know what the plot is. Hopefully your chapters to come will lean more towards the plot...unless the plot is about how Hermione and Draco face the grieve of the aftermath of the war? Forgive me if the plot is very simple...I'm slow on some of these things. Anyways, your story made me feel Draco's pain. I actually felt quite sober when I finished. It's always a good sign if you can make your readers picture what's going on and make them place themselves in a characters position. It seems Draco and Hermione are having an internal conflict within themselves. I really do enjoy this. Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I didn't actually expect any reviews and/or views yet, seeing as it's only the first chapter. (Yes, I spent about five minutes bouncing around happily. Sue me.) I think I do consider Draco and Hermione's hardships the mainplot... although I wont get into that. I can't give everything away now, can I? Anyway, thank you again for the review!
