This was really sweet.
You wrote Rose and Hugo so brilliantly, getting their brother and sister realtionship down to a T in my opinion. The way they both went to their safe haven to protect them, and how they both helped each other up there, it was done so quickly and fluidly that it was obvious they went to that tree a lot. And that they had a routine of how to help each other climb it.
The ending was great too, having Ron and Hermione saying they love each other, that even though they argue they still love each other, and having Rose and Hugo see that.
I hope that Ron does build them a treehouse :D

Hi, it's hidden_secrets from the forums! I'm so glad you asked me to check this out, it was one of the best(maybe even the best) next-gen fics I have ever read.

These are my favourite stories to read, told from the child's point of view. This was so sweet. Almost so sweet that I had tears in my eyes.

Oh, how I wish it were christmas right now! I love how you wrote Rose and Hugo, they were so sweet! But it was so sad that Ron and Hermione were fighting, I hate to see/hear about them fight! But I'm so glad everything will be ok.

I love Hugo's innocence! I just love any child's innocence, that's the thing I love most about young children.

Keep up the amazing, wonderful work! 10/10 and an add to favourites!
Please let me know if you have anything else you want me to read x

Author's Response: Wow. Thank you. I'm not sure what to say, but I can't stop smiling.

I love reading things from a child's point of view, the innocence that at comes through. They'd see things differently from an adult, which is nice to see.

Thank you so much!

Sam.

This is so sweet and lovely! I'm so glad I chose to read this (I must tell you, it took me some time to decide:P), because it left me a warm, hopeful feeling:)

I like how Rose points out the innocence in Hugo's words and how he believes it's going to be alright even though his sister has no evidence. It shows that he wants things to be better, and so does Rose, and that little detail creates an excellent characterization for kids their age.

What I really liked about this is how it deals with mundane problems: reasonable for any family, but unexpected in the wizarding world- at least in the books. However, in that era the war is over and I really like how relationships turn normal as well.

Finally, I must say that my favorite scene is the 'happy family' one at the finale. It was adorable!

Lovely fic, really:D

~ Angie

Author's Response: Big sisters; we always look out for little brothers. :P

Thank you so much for choosing to review this. It means a lot because it was something different to write and I love it. :D

Sam.

I really do love your writing!

You seem to be able to make the emotion really come through no matter what you write and in this it was interesting seeing things from a child-like view. I also think you've portrayed them really well because younger children are always hard to write due to their varying emotions.

The bit where Rose says shes the oldest and that's how she knows everything is okay is really lovely because it shows how much of Hermione she has in her and how sensible she actually is.

A very well written piece!

Author's Response: I think children are relatively easy to write, only because I have younger cousins of varying ages so I kinda use them as inspiration. Well, I say relatively... LOL.

Thank you. :)

Really sweet. I loved the way you presented Hugo, I fell in love with that little child, and also Rose, the way she thought at a very young age. Thanks for writing it!!!

Author's Response: I love little Hugo. Thank you for reviewing. :)
