I must say, I was a little apprehensive to read this at first, because stories about Alice and Frank had broken my heart in the past. And this one, unsurprisingly, did as well. :( But you know that only meant you've written this quite successfully, yeah?

Alice was unusually frantic here. Which is surprising for me because I've always seen her to be more calmly detached from reality. That little detail about her thinking that the villain were coming to take Neville was quite intriguing. I wasn't sure if that was a delusion or it was implying that it happened in the past as well.

Overall, I think this was a well-written and touching piece. Nice job!

Author's Response: I suppose that's one way of looking at things, though it's hard to say that somethings successful when it broke your heart! The part about Neville was more of a delusion, sort of a way of justifying the reason why she didn't have her son now.

This was amazing. Short, sweet, but absolutely amazing. I can't believe it doesn't have more reviews!
The way you wrote this made my heart break. The pure joy and happiness that radiated from the start of the fic was so vibrant, so pure, but still it felt like there was something wrong. And then you yank us out from that world into Alice's broken mind. I honestly felt a tug at my heart when you introduced that. It was an absolutely brilliant look into her mind and a day in her life, and it left me close to tears because of her state. Absolutely brilliant!
