This was a very nice one shot! I really liked the idea behind it. I love stories about unrequited love, and this was not only one, but two people whose love was not returned. I really did feel bad for Ben, since his heart was being broken. And it's evident that Rose loves him too, even if it isn't in the same way. My biggest problem with this was the spelling and grammar issues. They made the story distracting and difficult to read. That being said, I think a beta would clear that up for you, so I'd strongly advise you to ask for one :) Other than that, it was a great one shot!
