Nice chapter, but there are a few flaws. It's just very unlikely that James would leave his precious invisibility cloak lying around and that Lily would use it twice. Also I'm not sure the Mirror of Erised was at Hogwarts for twenty years... since Harry also found it in his first year.
Aside from all that, it was a pretty enjoyable chapter... Good job! (:

Well, for flaw 1, James might've been accidentally caught by Filch and left it there by accident (or he could just be incredibly forgetful) and for flaw 2 Harry found the mirror in his first year, and it may have been there before, but even if it wasn't it was just a plot device anyway :)

Interesting but rather short. I think there's something you should correct, though... Hogwarts starts on September 1st, so Remus can't possibly turn into a werewolf without a full moon! (:

I'm a little confused because it seems to me that Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 are the wrong way around. Chapter 2 says that Lily has been sorted into Gryffindor but Chapter 3 is about the sorting :S I'm not sure if I'm reading it wrongly but I thought I should let you know.
Anyway, I really like this story and am waiting for the next chapters! x x

Good!, I like it. Bellatrix is very much in character. Though it got a little confusing with them being in Gryffindor common room and then being sorted the next day. Your off to a strong start though, can't wait to see where you end up soon.

Awesome! The sorting hat song was perfectly wonderful, and so was the sorting. I loved that part when the Muggle-born scoffed, "What’s it gonna do, sing?" and then it did. Please, please, write more!
