And yeah, I have heard that one before, and the thing is, in that moment, I wanted Draco to go back to being a little lost child. He has created this "Malfoy Persona" for himself over the years, and when his father is kidnapped, he goes back to being a scared little kid again for a second.

I should have explained in it in the fic anyways.

You have succesfully made me read the entire story instead of just stop halfway the first chapter. There are some mistakes (including the Fred incident is the 12th chapter) but otherwise you are great.

First of all: I like your writing. I usually only comment on the last chapter, as it is way easier, but I gotta say it. I love your wrtiting, it's great. You're possibly one of the best writers on this site.
But:
I can't see Draco saying ''They took my daddy.'' Perhaps, he'll say ''They took my father,'' But Draco is proud, even though he's with a friend, and I strongly suspect that he hasn't said ''daddy'' since the first time he found another word for it.
Still love your writing though.

Author's Response: Umm... Hi, I am on my mobile, and the connection is crappy, but just wanted to clear the air on that one.

Draco, the poor man, is extremely scared, and calls his father 'daddy' because he is not thinking of the cold insensitive and stiff man who lives in his house... He's thinking of the smiling Papa (Daddy) he once used to have and loved with all the exuberance of childhood.

What I mean is, Lucius became a cold man, and hence Draco distanced himself, becoming cold himself. But now he is again vulnerable, scared, and cannot be angry with his Dad any longer.
