Yay! Neville. I am so glad he became a professor. The young witches and wizards after his generation are so lucky... not only is Voldie gone, but they will benefit from an excellent Auror Dept but from wonderful professors like Nev, Hagrid, etc... I just loved this. Now where to go? I might check out a couple of your one-shot stories. I don't know why but I'm still chuckling about all of the Potters being in the hospital wing from your last book I read:) Then on to Albus' second year at Hogwarts. And just how do muggles get through Platform 9 3/4? I don't know that I'd go running at a brick wall either--but then I probably wouldn't get through.

That was cute!! I loved that Rose, as a Weasley, and despite being very studious, loved a good prank just like the rest of the Weasleys--but that she might use her skiving snackbox to avoid watching quidditch practice. Very funny!

How funny--even an old wizard suffers from aches and pains. You did a good job of building up the excitement of John getting his Hogwarts letter. I could feel his excitement and then frustration of having to wait to go to Diagon Alley. Great chapter.

That was a really good chapter. I don't know what I'd do if someone came and announed that one of my children was a witch or wizard. I think this is the first time someone's written about how muggle parents are informed--or the first time I've read anyway. Hagrid telling the Dursleys doesn't count. And you've also explained how some muggle parents end up in Diagon Alley. I always wondered how that happened.

I can see I should've read this short book first. Then I would've known for sure that Matt was a werewolf. But sometimes it's not clear what to read first. Anyway, this was wonderful. Does Amy know at this point that Teddy Lupin's dad was a werewolf? I mean, she's friends with Victoire.
