I really love all of your characters! And the way your story is structured with all these different points of views, makes it so extremely intriguing and fun to read!

You MUST MUST MUST write more of this story! I came across it today and it is safe to say I am hooked!

Your writing is beautiful, the way you manage to interconnect the four girls and their version of events, really great job!

I haven't noticed too much love for Gertrude among reviewers, so this may be controversial, but I have to say she is my favourite girl. I can't put my finger on it but something about the way you write her and also her relationship with Logan is just compelling! Also I think while your portrayal of her as quite promiscuous and cold has left others feeling she's a bit mean etc, it's only drawn me to her more. There's definitely something under the surface with her and I'm probably wrong but I can't help but think she might end up in some major trouble at some point! It also makes me really sad to see how her relationship with Sirius has broken down. Again, this may seem strange but I think she is the girl I would most like to see Sirius with (again)! I love love love Sirius (who doesn't?) and I think Ara is great, but maybe just too much of a nice girl? I appreciate she brings out the 'good' in Sirius but I always like to see Sirius with a girl with whom there are major sparks, who challenges him, if you know what I mean? So yeah, I hope you plan to write some more Sirius and Gertrude (even if it is just about their friendship, or lack of it!)

As for other characters, I love Audrey. She seems so strong and confident of herself and her identity, yet I love how you include these personal moments with Regulus, it really gives great dimension to both of them, and endears you to two characters who could have so easily been lost admist all the other action!

Also, just to add, I love your characterisation of the Marauders! Really is one of the best jobs I've seen and I think you capture the balance of their personalities brilliantly!

I have to admit, I'm not really one to leave comments, even when I really love a story. I think the fact that I felt the need to leave this review really is testament to how good this story is! Please keep going, whenever you get the chance! It would be such a shame to let a great story not see out its ending, and this really is a great story! :)

2. I absolutely love Gertrude so not controversial at all (from my POV) to have her as your favourite. Yes, she's messed up, makes bad decisions and is often hostile, mean or manipulative but you're definitely right there's more beneath the surface :) And never fear.. It makes Gertrude sad to see her friendship with Sirius broken down too so that'll certainly be explored further.

3. A significant part of what you've said about Ara/Sirius is true. Therefore, your prize is that I cannot possibly comment on it for fear of spoilers :P

4. I agree. Audrey is fab. It's surprised me how well people have taken to the idea of her and Regulus. They seem to be quite popular, which makes me very happy :) I also just realised she can be just as harsh as Gertrude but people seem not to mind. Perhaps because she's a Slytherin and so it's expected? Or perhaps because she does it with more subtlety?

5. Your comment about my characterisation of the marauders makes me too happy. Like, seriously - I can't stop smiling.

Looks very promising so far! I appreciate how it's written very light-heartedly, because I love a story that can make me laugh. I also like how it doesn't start with intense romance in the first chapter... Those can get annoying after a while. Writing from the POV of four girls from different houses is a great idea. I was thinking of doing something similar a while back: four siblings, each one from a different house, but it's easier to imagine the story than to write it. So to anyone who reads this, feel free to make a story out of that. Off to read the next chapter! 10/10.

Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you liked the POV format :) I did it this way because loved the idea of all four girls having very little association with each other and slowly threading their lives together as the story progresses.

Four siblings is a great idea too! Family dynamics are often just as fun to explore as romance. (Which may be why there's no intense romance to kick things off here. I wanted the friendships and family bonds to be just as real a part of the story)

Well, hello there!

So I just discovered this story today after playing the game of "lets click a random author's name and pick through their author page for goodies". I must say, I'm glad I did.

I literally spent a good two hours reading through this story, and I freaking LOVED it. To be honest, I don't like Beck that much, but I give my gratitude for her finally going against Logan. I liked their little exchange, and about Beck asking how many people he killed. That was deep, and I couldn't help but say to myself, "Ouch buddy, you got roasted!"

And my personal favorite shipment would be Sirius and Ara. I love how they sort of balance each other and rub influence upon one another. They're so cute, and it makes me happy to see the more outgoing side of Ara blossom. Don't get me wrong, I adored the shipment of Ara/Remus at first, and I couldn't help but think "awwwh, how cute", but seriously now, these two were meant to be together! Ara is a bit too naive though. She sees too much good in people, but I guess that's what makes her Hufflepuff awesomeness shine brightly.

And I adore the pairing of Regulus and Audrey.I don't know why, I just do.

And I read your author's note. I completely understand what you mean about life getting in the way, so take your time and no rush. I'm just so stoked for the next chapter though. You honestly have me hooked, and it's just killjoy to find that there isn't another chapter. No matter, however. It's all good. I can wait. :D

I don't even know how to write this review because honestly, I don't think words can adequately express how much I love this story!! I couldn't really remember what was going on, so I re-read the whole thing and I'm so happy I did :) Even if I'm going to get about four hours sleep :/ I know in your author's note you said that you had a hard time getting back into the girl's heads, but I couldn't see any difference in tone or voice really. Although I guess the chapters before this one had a lot more action.

There was quite a lot of dialogue in this chapter, but it flowed well and the conversation between Gertrude and Logan was especially good :)

Anyway, sorry for the gushiness of this review hahah. And I hope you update soon! :)

Ugh, I'm so sorry, I'm reviewing again. Just ignore the last one, it wasn't long enough and certainly didn't do justice to your lovely story.
OK, I'm going to super honest.. wait for it... I've been here every two hours since the day-before-yesterday, hoping there's been an update!! No fanfiction has EVER done this to me before, so you can guess how much I love your story. Y u no update before a fortnight? :/ OK, OK, I'm going to stop hounding you about that now.
I actually love Claryce. I know she seems annoying and over-protective, and even a bit selfish when she tries to keep Daniel from going after Lily, but I understand. And though Remus called her selfish, he'd probably have done the same thing if it were James or Sirius who's girlfriend didn't really worry about their well-being! And I LOVE Clar's "boys". I really hope you include more of them, even if they ARE OCs.

Gerty- well, let's say I'm DEFINITELY not an anti-Beck. I love her too (but then, I love all four of them). It's just nice to see how you haven't made her a complete biatch. And also, I almost expected the Gryffindor to be Lily, and it was refreshing to see it someone so unlike your typical Gryffindor.
I just hope Sirius and Gerty become friends again. As a couple, they wouldn't go, but as friends, they were nice. And Gerty'll be needing a few friends around now, especially since Logan's said they're "not over yet". Sounds... ominous.
Logan... um... well, Logan's scary. He's got this mysterious thing going on, sure, but he's seems so unpredictable and unstable- he's scarier than Lucius because no one really knows what he's going to do next. Gerty, Logan... Well, just don't let him hurt her, OK?! *puppy-eyes*

Ara: She's cute with Sirius, but as a couple, it just doesn't seem right enough. I really hope she isn't just a whim, a passing phase of his, because she's so sweet and innocent, I don't want her upset. I mean, she WOULD be perfect as Sirius's closest friend or his #1 Girl. But as a girlfriend?
BUT. BUT, I think if you DO want Sirius and Ara together, you can pull it off perfectly. Your story's so beautifully unpredictable, I'm sure you'll be able to portray Sirius and Ara's relationship so well it'll seem real.

And Audrey- I love her relationship with Regulus. He's portrayed so well, and that's why I love your story. You've explored every character so well- even the minor ones like Millie- and all your main characters have their flaws, and that's what makes them so believable and easy to relate to.

Well, I thought I knew who I wanted to go with whom, but now I'm not so sure. Just.. try and put Clar with one of the marauders (excluding Peter, of course. I don't like Wormtail. Can you blame me?)

Can't wait! I'll be checking everyday until the next update. Make it ASAP and I LOVE YOUR STORY.
Oh, btw, your poster. The blonde is Ara, the black-haired girl is Gerty, Keira Knightley( Ithink) is Claryce and the last one's Audrey? Just asking. I love doing the whole who's-who thing.

Can't respond to every point, because then I'd be giving out spoilers and I'm sure you don't want to know who Clar/Ara/Sirius will end up with (if anyone :P). But thanks so much for your thoughts. Some of it is quite spot on too and hopefully that'll become clear in future chapters. Only thing is, there's *so much* still to come that may be a few chapters down the line.

Logan is unstable. I very much agree. No further comment required :P

I actually like Audrey/Regulus more than I expected to. There's a stillness about their relationship that is quite nice to explore. So I'm glad you're enjoying it :) And so flattered that you think I've explored each character well :) Also love that you appreciate their flaws e.g. in Claryce but like them anyway! (Basically, I love your entire review and am flattered by everything you've said and you're making me blush :P)

You're spot on about the girls in the banner. Although, I should add that in my head Keira Knightley is nothing like how Clar looks. I just couldn't find anybody even vaguely similar to the description in my head so went for any ole brunette :/

Oh, and about the next chapter.. I'm going to be really honest and hope it doesn't make you stop reading but I don't think I'll be able to get it up super quickly. I'm hoping to write it in the next couple weeks so by the time it's been validated it'll *hopefully* be up by the end of the month. Sorry.. Wow, I began this and I kept reading right to Chapter 12! I love the girls, all of them. I'm actually like Gerty, and I really hope Logan doesn't screw her up. It's nice to see there's more to her than a 'selfish' person. But then, I like Ara and Claryce and Audrey too, so that's not much.
I also love your portrayal of Regulus (He goes great with Audrey, I'd hate it if anything happened to THIS couple), and I really hope Daniel gets someone nice. I actually like him.
Remus and Claryce was odd, but quite interesting. It wasn't cliched at all, and I like how you're story's unpredictable but still so believable. And all your characters have been portrayed so humanly and... um, beautifully? Sorry, I'm out of synonyms here.
So PLEASE, bring on the next chapter and QUICK!

I loved this! It was so intense!
And the end was so mysterious...i began to like Gerty a bit more in this chapter because she was loyal, determined and a good fighter, even if her boyfriend is a creep.
AND I ADORE Audrey/Regulus. They're such a great couple and so complex. It's great that they care so much for each other and that they see behind each other's masks.
I got the feeling that Remus may eventually get together with Ara. Obviously Sirius/Ara are going pretty strong right now and I actually do like them as a couple, but Ara hasn't forgotten Remus yet and he seems to think very well of her...though maybe that's just leading to them becoming close friends. I love that I don't really know what's going to happen!
And I do like Remus/Claryce so far...but o really had imagined her with Sirius more. I don't know.
I like how we saw more of James and Lily in this chapter as well, and that all the girls seem even more connected so far!
I really want to see them become the most unlikely, odd bunch of close friends :)
and I love Daniel. He's awesome. I'm hoping he gets a girl, too. I kind of see him with Gerty for the simple reason that I don't see her relationship with Logan going well and she's the only one left for me to see him with.
And I'm also wondering who the helpful Ravenclaw beater was in the fight? Was it Daniel? Because I get the feeling it might be, but I'm a little confused now that I think back to it.
I also liked hearing more about the guys Claryce is friends with. We don't know much about them yet, but I like what I know so far.

'Ravenclaw beater'? I've not reread this chapter in a while but I think that's referring to Jason. He's not mentioned by name (because Ara doesn't know his name) but he was also in the Three Broomsticks and helping James get people out. Daniel's not on the Quidditch team and he was mostly under the table opposite Audrey, shooting curses from there :)

Know she's not the loveliest of girls but I do love writing Gerty and glad her (admittedly few) redeeming characteristics are beginning to come through! :) And I simply can not comment on Ara's lovelife ;)

I'm loving this story so far!

I love how all your OCs are so different and that they're different from Lily, too.

I think my favorite so far is Arabelle, with the Ravenclaw (for some reason I forget her name) as a close second. Then Audrey, then Gerty.

Arabelle is fun to read because she's silly and sweet and very endearing. The Ravenclaw is more strong-willed and hot-tempered. Although actually, it's hard to even decide if she's my second or Aubrey is... Aubrey is vain and selfish, but she's also pretty...bad-ss lol. Which makes her seem pretty cool. And although she's typically condescending, she seems to be the wittiest, despite the other OC in Ravenclaw.

I don't think I'm really like any of them in particular, but I can identify with all of them. It makes me able to like all of them.

Gerty can be funny and entertaining. I just don't like her as much because her main trait seems to be that she's very promiscuous, which is kind of weird to me, but like I said, entertaining. And I do like her, though not as much as the others so far. And her story seems very complex and mysterious, so that's interesting.

I also love that I don't really know what's going to happen. It's all a mystery to me. I do wonder if there will be more Lily in the story? I think you should include her perspective because she's so involved with everyone and it would bring more of James in the story. Of course I haven't read all you've written so far, so you may have done that.

So far here's my guesses of who will end up with who...
Arabelle & Remus
The Ravenclaw & Sirius
Audrey & Regulus
Gerty & Daniel

I love the relationship with Audrey and Regulus because although she was originally more attracted to Sirius, those two seem like a good math for a couple. I love how they have deep understanding of each other and obviously strong trust. They seem to be on the same page with all the 'politics' and I loved when he stayed with her and held her hand. They're mean, but they're endearing in a special way. Like you pity their weird society stuff and love them for having some reason. Like not attacking harmless people, only those that annoy you...kind of vicious, but also -like I said- bad-ss.

Gerty...well I don't know what's going to happen with her. I threw her with Daniel because he seems like a cool guy. We don't know much about the over Ravenclaw boys -they're more static characters so far- and I think Lily will end up with James and I wouldn't want him to end up with no one. Logan seems cool in a creepy-but-hot-evil-deatheater kind of way, but if he's actually like Audrey thinks he is, I don't see that working out. Of course there's always the possibility that he'll turn soft for her and fall in love. So I really don't know.

My biggest hope is that you make them all become friends. They're all so different and from different houses and it would be so cool if they all became best friends after being thrown together in these random connections to the Marauders :)

Forgive me for not reviewing every chapter. It's hard to have any idea of something to say when I know there are more chapters waiting and any reviews could be completely out-of-place and useless. But so far I've loved them all!! :)

So glad you like the OCs! I won't say too much more about who I like most and why because my opinions are coloured by what I know is going to happen and I don't want to give anything away :P And you're completely right about the Ravenclaw boys. So far, they've been there mostly as an aside to Claryce's story. They're all lovely boys though so do deserve some fleshing out! :)

It's interesting that you say you want them all to be friends too because - for me - the most interesting aspect of the story is how they all interact with eachother. How that changes, how/if they change eachother and what kind of impression all these random people might leave on eachother's lives. And whether they become friends or not is definitely part of that :)

I LOVE THIS STORY!
I'm addicted :) I've read the whole story in a few hours.
You're writing style is very good and I like how you write from everybody's house pov.

I love Regulus/Audrey, they are my favorite characters in this story. Audrey is a very intresting person, and I like the story the best from her POV. I really like their relationship and how they only let eachother see their real person.

Please don't make Audrey fall for Sirius, I like Regulus better :P Plus I think Arabella and Sirius are really cute together.

I see a lot of Ara in myself, that's why I also like her character. A little bit shy and quiet. I hope we'll read more about her relationship with Sirius.

Then Claryce, I like how she's so protective of her friends, but sometimes it can be a bit too much.
I don't like Gertrude very much, she's a little bit mean, but she fit in the story.

oh, and Logan > Lucius. I don't like Lucius, but I like Logan.
That fight scene was good, it makes the story intresting.

Amazing, Absolutely amazing. I love how throughout these 11 chapters so far you managed to link these peoples stories together somehow and it all makes sense! Although it's fanfiction so it's made up, you make this story link with the past of harry potter's parents friends and all, It could be true enough to be in a book like harry potter! Your literature is very good! Punctuation - very good! You must spend alot of time on this fanficition!! It's soo perfect :D But If it wasnt for the fact that Lupin hasnt fallen for Ara - I would've gave you 10/10 :P I await like many others for the next chapter :D I bet it will be good!!

I like how you linked the characters encounters with eachother up.
The ravenclaw is daniels friend.
Daniel is dating the griffindors friend (lilly).
The griffindor just met up with the slytherin who seems to of had sirus tailing her. The slytherin's bro was flirting with the griffindor.
