you didnt need to end it like
Laughing merrily, the two ran wildly through rain puddles, singing at the tops of their voices any songs that came to mind, and generally enjoying a few moments without thoughts of the Dark Lord, and time as one again.

it kinda ruin the story. if you endded it with just:“Believe in me. All I had to do was give you a chance.”

it would have been perfect! BUT i loved the story and the song, i am putting it in my favorites none the less of the final line 8) good job! 10/10
