Very nice short story! I always like it when Draco and Hermione both end up alive and together. A baby would have been nice, too, as a sign of hope for the future. :D

Very VERY well written. Consistent, never OOC - all things considered. And avoiding OOC is especially hard I think with Dramione fics. Good on you!

What a beautiful piece of imagery there Kate, so gorgeously put, and such a wonderful ending to another masterpiece of yours. You are very, very talented :) I liked the simplicity to the ending of this, and how it didn't leave anything hanging. It was lovely, well done. Author's Response: thank you. i really wanted this chpater to be still, to be peaceful but still torn at the same time. i wanted to show their vulnerability, esp when they were together at the end. simplicity for sure. this, to me, did not need filling with bits and pieces - the message had already been given, and this was simply the follow-up to that.
