There is such a thing as being too mysterious about the whole thing. How was she called out for betraying them? Why were elves even at war with the wizards? Most myths have them staying away from anyone other then their own kind. She also has no faults. Yes, Tolkien's own elves seemed flawless, but they did in fact each have a fatal flaw to their personalities.
