~However, after a week, she’d decided sticking by my side (in the literal sense of the word) would be the only way to make it up to me. That was two months ago. So yeah. Kind of getting on my nerves a bit.~ *Shudders* Would it ever get on mine. I would have murdered her by now. ~“Uh, Lily?” If I heard one more person say “Uh, Lily?” in that confused tone, I was going to explode.~ Why do I get the feeling she's gone a little over the deep end? :) Loved all the sudden revelations. Moments like that are wonderful. I reckon just stick to Lily's POV--and maybe have Marissa and Ella mention things about their dates to her. But this story has mostly been about Lily and James, and I think that it should probably remain focused on them. Cinnamon.Author's Response: Lily's always been crazy, what are you talking about :P Thank you for arguing against it, I'm still not 100% sure. I think I might though, it makes more sense and I have a perfect ending planned, which doesn't deal with the mess of relationships, lol. Thank you for reading and leaving your thoughts, it is much appreciated! Report Review
~And I won’t mention that my life ‘couldn’t get any worse’ because knowing my luck, it probably will.~ Poor Lily :) And *ouch*. That was rather harsh of Sirius, but I think I understand where he's coming from. Nothing is more important to Sirius than his friends, and Lily has been majorly messing with one of them. And I can also understand why James is tired of her head-games. I would be too. Still, I hope they manage to sort things out. Cinnamon.Author's Response: You're exactly right about Sirius, though there were other factors contributing. And you're right about James too - it would only be logical for him to do what he did, in my opinion. Thank you for the wonderful review! Report Review
~P.S. If she’s ever returned to us like this again, There’ll be hell to pay. Understand, Ferret?~ I love Ginny :) I seriously doubt that I will grow to hate Wes as much as I hate Miranda--he's a Slytherin and he wants Hermione, how else is he going to go about it. But Miranda already had her chance with Draco, she threw it away, and now she wants another chance...Cinnamon. Report Review
Aw, Gabriel's adorable--and Ceci's all grown up! I have very much enjoyed this story. Thank you. Cinnamon.Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it :) and thank you for all the great reviews you've left me! Please check out the sequel- I would love to know your thoughts and opinions on that one. It's called Black Rose and is on my author page. The main characters from this story will still have plenty of drama in the sequel as well, as will Ceci. Please check it out and thanks for the review! Report Review
~“I-this-it’s not what it looks like!” he managed to get out as she reluctantly stood up.~ Of all the stupid lines he could have used, he had to choose that one. Cinnamon.Author's Response: Enh, he is Blaise Zabini, best friend to Draco Malfoy so, he may not be all that smart :P especially when it comes to frightening girls. Thanks for the review! ~It might actually be the death of me if I stay around him for too long.” She paused before adding, “Or the death of him.”~ Ouch. She's not as scary as Bella though. Speaking of which, I find it rather disturbing how easily they're all falling in with the plans of a portrait of one of the most messed up Death Eaters there ever was...Cinnamon.Author's Response: Well, Draco is related to her and Pansy is a Slytherin and Hermione wants revenge and they all enjoy being secretive like that even though their boss is a messed up Death Eater like you said ;) plus, I find it funny. Thanks for the review! Report Review
~“Fine. From now on Draco, my nephew weirdest, will act like a pathetic whimpering baby, begging for Hermione’s forgiveness and for her to take him back while Hermione keeps her tough, sexy bitch act up and screams at him to get a life. Meanwhile, Scarface here will keep the carrot-tops happy and remain double agent. Pansy and Miss Flower-Power-all-smiles-happy-face will work on getting on the Witch-Bitch’s bad side, also baby-sitting the brats, while Pansy also tries to appeal to the brother’s inner desires and seduces him. Got it?”~ Bella can be absolutely terrifying. I guess we already knew that though... ~“... I hate you.” “Join the club. My idiot cousin Sirius set it up. Free membership but if I ever catch you or any of those pathetic Marauders singing the ‘Bella is secretly a Duda, Cha-Cha-Cha’ I swear I will blow your head off. I have my connections, you know.”~ Interesting...Cinnamon.Author's Response: lol, thanks, I'm glad you think so ;) and yes, Bella is terrifying. Just wait till you see her in the sequel! Oh wow, Cassion's alive? He has to be. Does that mean there's still a chance, despite everything, that Bella's alive too? I was always a bit dubious about that possibility, since I thought for sure she would have found a way to contact Sirius--but if she thought he really was the traitor, it would be very different, of course. ~“My eyes go purple when I’m cross,” said Cassion proudly, puffing himself up in his tiny broomstick pyjamas, “And one day I want to set things on fire like mummy does.” Dumbledore coughed politely as the young Sirius rolled his eyes.~ Oh dear... Uh-oh, I don't like the sound of that. I'm guessing that at least some of them have gotten killed, or are about to be. I'm rather dreading the enxt chapter now, but at the same time looking forward to it. Cinnamon. Report Review
~I smiled sweetly “if I were Bella I would have killed you by now.”~ That is almost certainly true... ~Her eyes narrowed “I won’t lose you Cissa, but if he hurts you I won’t promise not to kill him.” I gave a wry smile “if he hurts me I just might kill him myself.” Bellatrix smirked “good, that’s my girl.”~ If I wasn't absolutely positive that Lucius could look after himself I'd be feeling very sorry for him right about now. ~After that dinner concluded without incident and the gentlemen retired to Adonis’s study leaving us all to congregate in the parlour to politely dig at each other’s eyes. Verbally of course.~ Fun-fun :) ~“Oh,” I said scrambling away from Lucius and slipping off the ledge “that’s quite alright, we were simply talking... weren’t we Mr. Malfoy?” Evan smirked “is that what they’re calling it these days?”~ Poor 'Cissa. But still, that was kind of a stupid thing for her to say, in the situation. Cinnamon. Report Review
~“I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOU AND MY SISTER GOING OUT!” James announced. “I don’t want her messed up again.”~ Yea, I *thought* he was being a little too nice and understanding about the whole Jaycee/Sirius thing. And Remus's attempt at controlling the situation was brilliant: ~“James, heel.” Remus finally snapped. “Sirius, shut up.” ~ Cinnamon.Author's Response: Thanks... I had a few people comment about James\\\' reaction to the Jaycee/Sirius thing. And Remus will always attempt to control those two... whether it works or not... *Kort* Report Review
~“Its lovely, like a summer vacation,” Riley muttered. “Really?” “No, you moron.”~ Remus kind of deserved that :) ~“I think that’s enough emotional scarring for now,” Remus whispered~ Hehe. Good line.Author's Response: Yeah, Remus did kind of deserve that one. Glad you are enjoying the dialogue, its my favorite to write. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! Report Review
~“Say Harry,” Hermione leaned over the table, “when are you going to ask out Luna? Really, someone in this school needs to have a functional relationship. And you two look so cute together!” “Yup,” Pansy agreed, “you two are so cute together it’s almost sickening.” The two blushed and Luna averted her eyes to the piece of toast on her plate.~ Subtle. Tactful. Not. Good chapter, it will be interesting to see how things g from here. Cinnamon.Author's Response: lol, well, someone does need to have a functional relationship of some sort at that school. Thanks for all of the reviews! Report Review
~“He passed out a while back,” Sirius said, walking into his portrait. “He and Hermione are unofficially officially unofficially officially-,” he paused, “unofficially broken up.”~ Hehe. Wouldn't want to make things complicated or anything :) Cinnamon.Author's Response: lol, that's one of my fave lines. It was so fun to write and I figured Sirius would be the one to say it! Report Review
Good chapter, apart from how OOC Ginny is. I guess she has to be for the plot to work. And it seems that Hermione is having her version of the meltdown that Harry had at the start of OotP. It will be interesting to see what happens next. At least Draco knows what he did wrong now, and how she found out, and he can try to fix things...Cinnamon.Author's Response: Ginny is very OOC but that's because I turned her evil instead of just being her normally good-hearted self, lol. Report Review
Ooh, Luna and Harry. Good, I like that pairing. I love the way Hermione's thoughts immediately turned to kids, and totally freaked Draco out :) And now she knows why he really started going out with her...the next chapter is going to be interesting. Cinnamon.Author's Response: I like the pairing too, lol and as for the Dramione couple, well, read on! Report Review
Sorry it's been a while since I reviewed--life's been crazy, plus I always manage to forget about this site... Interesting development with Pansy and Blaise. Cinnamon.Author's Response: lol, I'm hoping you liked it! There'll be more about them to come! Report Review
~He wasn’t in love with Hermione Granger, and he definitely wasn’t in denial either. Draco simply felt like he was betraying a friend who grew to trust him- that was all.~ Brilliant line(s) :) Please update soon. Cinnamon. Report Review
Erm. Could someone tell Lily she's being completely irrational? Someone who's not me? It should be blatantly obvious to *anyone* that James was attempting to abide by her wishes when he offered to be "just friends". Although I admit that the Jane Ceedoor thing was a bit tacky on his part. Even if she hadn't been in love with him she wouldn't have liked that. Cinnamon.Author's Response: Lily will come to her senses soon, hopefully :) Wow, you're right on the money with all your comments - thank you! Report Review
Oh dear. Poor Lily. Just when she was about to tell him how she really felt, too. This is ging to be a difficult situation for her to be in--if she wants more than friendship from him, she is going to have to do the chasing...Cinnamon.Author's Response: Spot on :) Lily has the worst luck, doesn't she? Thanks for reading and leaving your thoughts! Much appreciated! Report Review
Wow, Moody really doesn't pull his punches, does he? I'm surprised none of them killed him for that analysis...although I think that they are most of them a little scared of him. I know I would be. Am, actually, as embarrassing as it is to admit that about a fictional character :) ~“Everything matters, McKinnon,” growled Mad-Eye, writing this on the board. “Harry was born at home,” whispered Isabella, “Nev’s was born at St Mungo’s?” “Harry’s had colic-” “The name Neville comes from the old French new village-” “Harry has a middle name whilst Nev's doesn’t-”~ Hehe. I think they are taking the "everything matters" very slightly too far there :D ~We managed quite happily too; though we tended to go spare being shut up indoors together. James especially-” “There were several stag sightings in the area,” grinned Sirius, his eyes twinkling, “Quite odd for the time of year; most especially quite strange to see one so domestic as to be happy to give pony style rides to children.”~ ~“They never got close enough,” grinned Sirius, “Always quite wary of Snuffles; especially the postman-”~ That's brilliant. Exactly the sort of thing James and Sirius *would* do. ~Cassion shook his head at James, as though considering a very sad and simple sort of person, “Uncle James; just because it has a picture doesn’t mean it’s real.”~ Go Cassion! Clever little thing, isn't he? Oh shit! And of course it never occurred to any of them that "the Wormtail" actually was Pettigrew. Because he was their friend. Please update soon. Cinnamon. Brilliant chapter. I loved the whole exchange when they were waking Narcissa to go to Bella's elopement, and also Lucius resuing her from the guy at Hades. Please update soon. Cinnamon. Report Review
~“Oh Harry!” cried Hermione, to a collective chuckle, “Oh weren’t you just precious?”~ That's got to be even worse than photo albums. I'm so glad that none of my friends have ever got hold of any of my baby photos... ~Marlene sighed, a slightly disgusted look on her face, “Nothing. Nada. Zip. Everyone’s completely preoccupied with You Know Who; I’m telling you, it’s like there’s a dark rain cloud hanging over our entire civilisation. No one’s even got time for a cheeky snog in the loos at work.”~ Good thing she's got her priorities straight. Mind you, she's probably got the best attitude, worrying about living rather than dying. Live for the moment, and all that. ~“What you up to, mucker?” he asked Cassion who beamed up at him, “Destroying anymore rosebushes? Smashing any windows?” “I blew a hole in the fence,” said Cassion proudly, “And almost swallowed the snitch.” “That’s my boy,” he grinned, picking him up.~ Poor Isabel. It would be so much easier for her to just give up now, wouldn't it? So they've got a suspected traitor, but no idea who it is, and they know that either Harry or Neville is the "Chosen One" now; which is all they will know, until Severus goes to Dumbledore, isn't it? Or are things going to happen differently in this? Cinnamon.Author's Response: Thanks for your review!! I'm glad you liked the chapter; you're probably right about the memories being worse than a baby album! As for Marlene, I see her as quite black and white and whilst being slightly flippant about everything, she does choose life. I'm going to keep to the original with regard to Snape but I'm not going to have it unfold that way (sorry to be so cryptic). Thanks (as always) for leaving me your feedback - you're always very thorough and constructive :) Report Review
~His face suddenly changed, and his lips turned into a smirk. “And what would you consider stupid?” “Anything that will get us a visit from your mother in the morning.” She replied. “As well as anything that will get us on the front cover of the prophet tomorrow.”~ Interesting definition. I think I can see her point though, especially about the visit from Narcissa. Oh Draco, what have you done? Please update soon. Cinnamon. Report Review
That was a very cruel thing that Lily did to James. Funny though :) God, Sirius really is a slut. Brilliant chapter. Does the game continue into the next one? Cinnamon.Author's Response: I wanted to play a little with James and Lily. And there's some drama on the way. I know Sirius is a slut but we love him. Kort Report Review
~“Party?” Draco asked exasperatedly. “You and father are hosting another one?”~ Draco doesn't take well to being manipulated anymore, does he? ~She smiled. “Because you’re always so serious.” Hermione said. “You need to loosen up a bit Malfoy. You’re twenty years old, and all you do is work, home and then back to work.” “That’s not true.” He said. “I attend many parties.” “Correction.” Hermione said in a perfect know-it-all voice. “You attend many boring parties.” ~ Hehe. Aaww. He really is starting to fall for Hermione. And her for him. Now they just have to admit and defeat the world. Easy :) Cinnamon. Report Review
