BTW... I'm loving the characterization of each of the characters in this story. I think Alastor's comments and accent is perfect. Remus is true to form and James and Lily are great. I'm intrigued and I hope you explain Sirius's situation.

Author's Response: I honestly can't remember where the idea originated, just that one day I was chatting to some friends in Skype, mentioned this idea, and they all but forced me to write it. Now it's taken over my life.

Well I actually liked this chapter. A bit of drama which added colour, but just enough so it wasn't over-done Well done! I'm hoping someone gives Snape a good kick where it hurts, etc, etc and possibly Petunia, too. Can't wait to see how Lily and James will get home and whether anyone will every find out that they're not the real princess and stable boy/ bodyguard/ jester. I also have a little idea that maybe the Lily and James from the story were transported into Hogwarts... Hmmm... Just a guess, though. Anyway, great chapter, please update soon!

Author's Response: Aw, well, thank you for that. I was worried that I was not only being overdramatic, but that I was progressing some of the relationships between characters a little too quickly without much grounds - namely Lily and James'.

Who knows? Maybe I'll write a one-shot detailing the fairytale James and Lily's experiences at Hogwarts!

So I'm guessing Remus, Mary, and Dumbledore put some kind of truth potion in their food/ drinks. Crude, but effective I guess. I still can't figure out why they made James Lily's bodyguard. The only reason I can come up with is that they want to catch her in the act with James... Anyway, brilliant chapter! Please update soon!

Author's Response: Yes, in a way. It's not like the Truth Potion we know of in canon, but much more crude and rudimentary. I promise the bodyguard thing will be explained in the next chapter. I know now that it sounds a bit silly, but hopefully the explanation will be satisfactory!

Ugh, I absolutely hate Lily-James fight scenes. And not just their usual fight scenes, but the times when Lily is actually just being an idiot and she likes James and then he actually gets upset with her and, ugh, it just annoys me!
Anyway, brilliant chapter. I like Lily's rejection of Snape. You're chapters really flow together, too. Well done!

Author's Response: I must say, I didn't have a fun time writing it, but it needed to be written. They weren't fighting for the sake of fighting - she was genuinely upset that he'd gotten himself hurt and that turned into anger because he's always doing stupid things and even though she appreciates the gesture, she is more than capable of taking care of herself. A fact that both of them are perfectly aware of, but basically she's just trying to get him to see that he doesn't need to put himself at risk just for her sake.
