Wow you have some really clever ideas in this chapter. I like how the S.C.I.D.C.C or the Sidekick was modeled after Sirius and James mirrors, and how subtle you were about the fact that it was their mirrors.
I thought it was perfect the way you had Tonks late for class because MadEye was being so paranoid.
I was so glad when you had Tonks stand up for her Slytherin especially because her mom's a Slythenin.
I also really hope that Scrimgeour just kicked Ben right out of the Auror program or at least punished him in some way that puts him behind the rest of the class. He's a jerk.
I think you can do a lot of really cool stuff with the fact that Moony staying over at grimmauld place. Especially if he starts living there. I think it would be cool if Snape caught Moony there and blow Sirius' lie or have Tonks use her S.C.I.D.C.C to find Moony one time and she winds up face to face with Sirius but its your story and I love the way your writing it. I was quite proud of the Sidekick idea; you would not believe how long it took me to come up with an acronym that even remotely resembled a proper word! :P Yes, well, I figured that actually was a plausible source, and after seeing how well the mirrors worked, everyone would have wanted one. :)
Haha, I doubt it'll be the last time his paranoia makes her late for something. :P
Tonks is too moral to stand by when someone's spouting rubbish like that, and it's such a touchy subject for her, given her mother's background.
Nothing that drastic, I'm afraid - Ben will stick around for now. I think Scrimgeour has just made it clear that prejudice will not be tolerated. I also think that Ben being shunned by the rest of the trainees will be punishment enough - it will make group work particularly uncomfortable for him. :S
Thank you. Living there... probably not, but he'll certainly spend the odd night in the spare room. Snape doesn't want much to do with Sirius or Grimmauld at the moment, after the whole werewolf thing, but his pride will recover eventually, and then he could be a bit of a problem again... :P
Tonks' Sidekick can't be used to find Remus - they can only be used to find mentors (or working partners, later) or to talk to other people with Sidekicks, but there are other ways that she could come face to face with Sirius... :P
