From the start you've described him perfectly. Messy (I leave my shoes all over the place as well, I can relate), forgetful but full of good intentions. And the fact that of all things he should forget Hermione's gift makes... perfect sense come to think of it.

I liked how you walked us through his internal struggle, from realizing his predicament to finding the solution to it. And a very Ron-like solution it was. To get rid of some substance he deemed unimportant and make a potion for Hermione.

The ending was very sweet, with Hermione thinking it was perfume and wearing it. Those two are so sweet when they pretend they don't like each other. *gush*

This was a perfect little piece of fluff, I loved it!

Ron's one of my favorite characters, so I was intimidated to write him. I was worried I would botch him. One of my favorite parts of the Ronmione ship is how he covertly admired her for a few years before they actually got together. It's amusing to see inside his head and imagine what he really thought of her.
