Review:Jchrissy says:
I was trying so hard to wait until eleven was out I read and review this.. Clearly my self control isn't all that good.

This chapter had so much little clues, bits of foreshadowing.. Ugh!!

As Salazar grow more and more intense with his ideals and begins to plot ways to keep magic in only pure bloods, Rowena grows farther from that opinion and is even regretting pushing her daughter toward a husband that would tie her so closely with Salazar. I love Rowena, and I know she loves Helena, but I don't think she'd be expressing these concerns if he daughter were wedding a different man, one not as tainted as Venn.

And Edeline ! Her fears are, in my opinion, some of the only honesty ones in this. Rowena express fears that I don't believe are one hundred percent true with how she feels, for I don't think it's just because she loves Helena that she's worried.. Salazar makes it seem that he's only worried his nephews is being too influenced by a beautiful woman, when in reality I believe he wants Venn to be his own little sponge again and get him away from the ravenclaws.

But Eledine. She's simply worried because she's losing her son, and as happy as it is, it still makes her sad. Love her.

There are just so many turns in this story mixed in with a tragic tale of love and I just want to go inside your head so i can read the whole thing and know how it ends!!

Ps, please forgive any weird typos. iPhone review :P

Author's Response: Oh, Jami, I'm so glad I didn't have to say 'well, sorry, the next one won't be out until January!' Haha. I hope you enjoy eleven as much as ten! (And I think your self-control is quite good! After all, this chapter has been posted for a while!)

You're totally right. I think if Helena's groom-to-be wasn't related to Salazar, Rowena would be shoving the wedding planning along to her heart's content. However--and rightly so, I think--she's got some qualms about the whole process thanks to Salazar's recent behavior, and I think she probably regrets pushing Helena so hard to find a potential husband and seal the deal. Venn, for his part, must be very confused, between the Ravenclaws and his uncle. You definitely haven't seen the last of this fight.

I kind of love Edeline, because she strikes me as being this sort of pure character among all these complicated, scheming individuals. She just wants to hang on to her baby boy, who now has to take the place of his dead father.

Thanks so much for this very lovely review :) I always love getting your take on my work!

Amanda
