WOOO!!! I saw your status thing on the forums saying that chapter nine was up, and ran over here immediately.

I love Cat and Kim's relationship in this chapter, especially. When Cat says that she has to get a coffee because she can't deal with the hormones and Kim flips her off... too funny. I think they've got a really great friendship. And man, they've both grown so much as characters between the first chapter and now!

Poor Cat. I feel so badly for her and her family, that scene talking about her mother's death was absolutely heartbreaking. I've always liked her but she is really winning me over in this chapter.

Hahaha, I laughed aloud at the "Indeed." "Quite." "I say." I love their banter and how they totally understand one another. :)

Oh my gosh, the ending sentence. That just blows me away. I have to know what happened and why! Ahh!! UPDATE SOON!

Author's Response: AAAHHH. You think they've grown, my life as the author of this story is complete. When in the first chapter you commented on the fact Cat and Kiwi acted a bit like children, I was a bit worried that it would stick throughout the next chapters. But that's not the case, so I'm happy :)

Cat and Kim's relationship is one of my favourite aspects of writing this. I don't know why, but it just is. And hey, I'm not the only one liking it, so it's all good, right?

That scene about Cat's past was important, though very difficult to write. It needed to be there though, because I think it shows Cat from another angle, and gives her more depth as a character...
