Oh wow! The splinching was a nice touch for sure, partly because it makes sense that she would do that to herself when apparating while so upset, and also because it added to the drama and sense of urgency of the chapter. I lol'd at "Where do you expect me to go, the London Marathon?" :D

"Cat isn't a woman. She's a quidditch player." Oh my gosh, this is so iconic Oliver Wood. Brilliant. And that Maya's fiance proposed while they were watching Mr. Bean. Haha! This chapter really made me laugh out loud several times. :) I do wish you'd add more descriptions of actions and what people look like, the expressions they're making, what the food they cooked was, etc. Your dialogue is great but I want to know so much more!

Aaaand holy wow. Really was not expecting that ending. Oh my gosh! This story just got so interesting.
