Review:Jchrissy says:
Yay I love our history lessons!

Okay, so before I start this review I'm going to be upfront. Today, I don't feel like analyzing and structuring my review or any of that. I just want to review. Sometimes if I try too hard to make sure my review is helpful and structured, I lose the reason I'm reviewing. Which is the fact that I really love this story.

You could have every single historical fact inaccurate. You could have named your characters things that don't even though in with this day and age. I would still love it. Because the way you bring these people together, the way you contrast their personalities and show us more of them than they even know.. I just love it. You are too talented. It makes me jealous.

Venn wasn't altogether terrible for me in this. I mean, he was of course dishonest and that isn't nice. He was cheating, which isn't moral. But still. He was trying to prove his love for her. The wrong way, undoubtedly, but the way he'd been taught. So, was I disappointed in his actions? Yes. Did I think he seemed like a terrible person? No. But I do understand why Helena left, I only hope she'll be able to get past his actions and the reason behind them.

I couldn't help but giggle at Helga. She reminded me of that lady on Titanic, Marge -- correction, Molly. Just looked it up. Well, I had the first letters right ;). Anyway, something about Helga reminded me of her. I'm hope we see her again!

And now, I really want to find out what happens. Sorry for my non structured what so ever review ♥ It's your fault for writing an addicting story!

Author's Response: Hello again! And yes, I love unstructured reviews! Feel free to be upfront at all times!

Wow, that is truly high praise. Thank you! I am just really enjoying toying with Helena and Venn, building them and turning them against each other and bringing them back together. Everything else has been fun, but mostly I'm glad that I'm even more fascinated with the pair of them than I was when I began.

I love that you have some faith in Venn! He needs someone in his corner cheering for him :) I'm glad that you get Helena's reaction, too, because it suggests that you're put into a conflicted position between the two of them. This is cruel, but that's precisely what I want!

I love Helga :) I held her back as a sort of secret humor weapon, but I always knew she would make her entrance sometime, and this part of the story seemed appropriate. She's my way of stepping into this very male-dominated time and saying, "You know what? Girl power! You work it, Helena!" Haha. I do think she's very Molly Brown-esque, yes.

Thank you for another fabulous review!

Amanda
