Review:classicblack says:
Hi it's Ali with your review!

I have to say that this chapter was very... interesting. I can't decide whether I liked it or didn't.

First off, I'll say that Ignotus's semi-violent reaction when he saw that Dom had the Cloak (which, technically, is his Cloak) didn't exactly seem like his character. He's supposed to be humble and wise. Why would a humble and wise person go crazy like that? I understand that he would been upset about the fact that his Invisibility Cloak from Death had been potentially stolen, but he reaction just seemed a bit mad and out-of-character.

However, I did like Dom's reaction to being sent back in time and your description of the how the world was in the year 1234 (which, by the way, I like because it's consecutive numbers). It was quite realistic and fits with many of the historical books I've read about that time period.

I did like that you mentioned the Peverell wealth, but I wonder again, if Ignotus is supposed to be such a nice person, why was his maid/ housekeeper afraid of him? I would have thought that he had a good relationship with his servants. However, it could just be me shoving my interpretations of characters into an author's face. I apologize about that.

I found it interesting that you chose to have Dom reveal that she was from a different time period so early in the story. I'm looking forward to see how you take that.

Something I've noticed you do occassionally (in this chapter and the last): you accidently type "she" instead of "he" and vise versa. It's clearly just a simple, harmless typo, but I'd suggest editing that out.

Fantastically written chapter!
Happy writing,

Author's Response: Ah! Again, such wonderful input from you! Thank you so much!

All righty! I can definitely see that with Ignotus' character. Thanks for pointing that out; I'll be sure to overlook it again.

And I gave off the feeling that Jocosa was afraid of Ignotus? :S Oops. By all means I didn't mean to do that. How I have intended it, she is not afraid of him at all but is truly thankful to have him as her master because he is truly a nice and polite one who is lenient, calm, and understanding. It is the other Peverells though who aren't so much, but I intended for her to be happy she worked for Ignotus. If that's not how it's coming off, then I need to go back and fix that. :P

Ah! And thank you for pointing out my little switch ups! I'll look closely for those!

Again, thanks so much for your thoughtful review! I have taken it all to heart and really appreciate your time and effort to leave such a helpful review. You're awesome!
