So just spent the entire day reading about Grimnerva (yeah...this what I call them in my head...I'm embarrassed), and I am so utterly in love w/ this. Which is why when I realized I read your Grimm series completely backwards, I wanted to bang my head against the wall and cry. Cause the only way This Longing will end, is bittersweetly or just flat-out tragically :( I understand why, but it still sucks. Anywho, you're ridiculously talented and have a great understanding for character development/motivation. Completely grateful that you're willing to share your talents to the HPPF world :)

Author's Response: Seeing a new review for this story had me dancing around my desk with joy. Thank you very much for reading the whole "series" and it means a lot to hear that you love it. ^_^

The fault is actually that I wrote them backwards, starting near the end, then hopping to the beginning, then back to the end. the chronology is all off, which has made writing this novel a lot harder because I've found myself wanting to change the end, and I don't know if I can "break" my own canon. It's very strange.

But you're right, this story is headed straight toward a bittersweet ending. I'm going to avoid the tragic ending as much as I can, if only to keep it from becoming a very depressing story about how awful growing up can be. :(
