Hello! I'm new to HPFF and loving every minute of it. I'm a married mom of two kids, and I just got into Harry Potter this last year. I've read all the books and seen all the movies (love them both!) and my son (age 9) is starting to read the books now too. I'm totally obsessed and can't believe I didn't know what I was missing all those years. But at least it was nice to be able to read the books all the way through without having to wait for each one to come out. :-)

I was very fortunate to stumble across your novel the first day I hopped on the site, not knowing what was good to read, and what was... well... and I'm so glad I found this! I love how it follows JKR's stories, and your writing is so beautiful I feel like it's the next best thing to having her write this. The love story you portray between Harry/Ginny and Ron/Herimone is so sweet and makes my belly do flip flops like it hasn't since I was young and in love for the first time.

I've been reading all your chapters straight through (well, before and after work and the kids) :-) for the last week and now that I'm up to your latest posting I can't wait for Chapter 20. Like I said before, I never had to wait for the JKR novels to come out, or even the movies except for HP8, so I'm not used to waiting to get my HP fix. I hope to see your next posting very soon!!! Please don't stop. In between reading some of your chapters, I've checked out some other stories in the same genre and the others don't compare. You've got a gift!

I think I successfully set up an RSS feed to your postings, but just in case they don't come through, can you tell me about how often your chapters come up on the site? That'll help me pay attention to how often I should check.

Author's Response: Hello! Firstly, I'm so, so sorry that I took so long to reply to your review! Back in February, I had a massive, life changing event hit me right out of the blue, and although it was a very, very good thing, it has meant that writing has taken a bit of a back seat recently!

However, I'm back now, and I hope to pick up the pace again.

I'm so glad you enjoyed Evolution. There is lots of great Fic out there if you know where to look, but your review made me smile, and gave me a lot of confidence in my writing, so thank you so much! That you took the time to review also means a lot to me.

I used to update every couple of weeks, but I'm not sure I'll be able to sustain that. Recently it's been more like once a month, but I do hope to be a bit more frequent than that in future. Hopefully your RSS feed is working, so you'll know that we're up to chapter 21 now. I have it written up to chapter 21, and I promise I'm going to finish it eventually!

Please do keep checking back, and I hope you continue to enjoy Evolution!
