Author's Response: Why thank you! Even when reading through the series, I'd always been interested in what Hermione was thinking and this story sort of came to me. It just seemed to work.

Ehh he may have mentioned it, but he's not bragging about it. It's merely saying that he's just as interested in the subjects despite his blood status.
