Remus stories always make my heart break. This was no exception. Since it's one of your first stories and you complained about formatting and spelling, I won't point out any things I had issues with.

I loved the idea of how Remus's nights were always dark since James and Lily's death. The weight of his guilt, for never forgiving Sirius, that was so painful to read. I loved how he felt them there, though. Saw Sirius in the star, lighting the darkness, heard him forgiving him. It gave me hope that they would always be there for him, even in death.

Describing the moment when Tonks called out for him and he panicked, worried about not getting to her in time and then finding her dead? I was just like, "No!" I hate Remus/Tonks but I hate that they both died and left Teddy an orphan even more.

Then when he was facing those Death Eaters and he finally accepted his death, I felt sad but happy that he was going to be reunited with those he lost. I loved how he woke up surrounded by everyone. It was just a love!fest. Dumbledore's line about how they were needed by the living - that was great. The song really fit well with this story.

I know you think it isn't great, but it really isn't that bad. You're fantastic with emotions and you did a wonderful job describing Remus's thoughts at this moment in his life.

I'm glad you enjoyed this despite all of its short comings. I don't know if I'd ever write another song-fic, but I couldn't get this song out of my head and felt it suited Remus so well.
