Author's Response: :) Thank you so much! I'm really glad you mentioned Van in particular - he's one of my favorite OCs, and I keep trying to work him into my stories because he's a lot of fun to write.

It's actually not Seamus/Lavender. :( I hope that doesn't disappoint you too much! Seamus and Lavender are very close, but Seamus is married to Parvati. (I actually have another fic I'm working on about their friendship and Lavender's recovery right after the war called "Ghost in the Machine," if you're interested! :) )

I put the next chapter into the queue as soon as this one was validated, so hopefully it'll be up in the next few days! :)
