That was such a lovely piece of writing. Cho's thoughts were jumbled and blended into each other, as people's thoughts should do. I thought you conveyed Cho's worries and fears really well.

I loved the idea that Cho had an imaginary friend. In the books she was so alone after Cedric died that it seems likely she would have one!

I know how you feel - Cho is not one of my favourite characters either. But in this, she has a much more real character and background.

I liked the use of questions towards the end. She was questioning herself and how she should be, which is something everyone does and makes the character authentic.

Also, I appreciated your diverse use of language. I hate fanfiction which sticks the cliche descriptions. My arch nemisis is the word 'nice'. Okay, now I'm going off topic.

Overall, this one-shot was refreshingly well written and proof-read. It seems to me like you put a lot of care into it and you should be proud that shows through.

It is not particularly long- but gets to the point without waffling.

My only criticism is the very last sentance. "It was all in her imagination anyway." It seemed very brief compared to the rest of the one-shot and as though she didn't really mind in the end anyway. This was confusing because a lot of the story was her worry of what imagination was and how it affected her and other people, so to summarize it like that was quite contrasting. But please don't worry about that comment too much or be offended, as it's only my personal opinion and at the end of the day your the author! My only worry is that you will now think I didn't enjoy the story, but I really did. It was a well-thought out piece of writing and thank you so much for posting, I wish you lots of luck in the competition you entered it for!
